"Inspire"
from "Antenna"
Directed: by Gavin Bowden
Filmed: Boston, MA September 2003

During one of our sacred days off from touring, we broke into a tiny Boston music store called Mr. Music in the wee hours of the morning to create the video for "Inspire". The entire thing was documented with some well-placed surveilance cameras and also with a hand-held camera. It was easily a clean getaway for us, as you'll soon see. Look for guest appearances from a couple of the guys in The Damn Personals and our pal Jay.

More info soon.

"Anchor"
from "Antenna"
Directed: by Dean Karr
Filmed: Los Angeles, CA January 2003

The part of the main character was played by Richard Edson, which is a complete honor due to the fact that he was also in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and countless other films as well.

The performance part of the video was shot on a set designed with a forced-perspective angle complete with an array of cables, wall-sockets, orb-shaped lights, burgundy-colored walls and a nice shiny black floor that kept us constantly wiping our feet before we were allowed to walk on it. All in all it was a great pleasure to work with Dean Karr, who is a true artist in all of the most essential ways.

Richard Edson was also in "Platoon," "Do the Right Thing," "Good Morning, Vietnam" and a slew of other films as well. More info on Richard Edson can be found
here. Rumor also has it that Richard Edson was the original drummer for Sonic Youth. - wm

BEHIND THE SCENES:
( CHANNEL 4 DOCUMENTARY )
Directed: by Mark Rainsforth
Filmed: interview & live footage from the Monarch
London, England August 29th, 2002

An 8-minute documentary edited together by Mark Rainsforth, the same fellow who did the "Dark Driving" video, for Channel 4 in the UK. We saw it one night during a UK tour and it really spooked us out. You can see us walking really late at night after playing Reading Festival, sort of lost and trying to find our hotel after our van broke down... there's also live footage from the show we taped at the Monarch in London last summer. Were you there?
