POST-EUROPEAN TOUR BLATHERING
Cave In would like to extend a loud, ear-ringing THANKS, GRACIAS!, MERCI!, etc. to everyone who made our 2002 European tour a pleasant excursion. Some of our favorite shows were in France, Spain, and England. Thanks to Dolf for booking a very well-organized tour, to Pete Stahl for all of his help and services, to Tos and Abe, Brazen, Craving, Hitch, No More Lies, Iced Earth and extra love to Tschepitz our beloved pilot.
POST-EUROPEAN TOUR BLATHERING part II
As for live performances, we plan on taking it easy between now and the end of spring. You'll see that we have an exciting weekend of volume with Scissorfight and Old Man Gloom at the end of February. . . it will also be around this time that we set up our recording gear in our new rehearsal space, doing some demos with Rich Costey (Rage Against the Machine, Rival Schools, Fiona Apple, Jurassic 5) and perhaps accidentally creating some Sacrifice Poles-esque material in the process.
MORE COSMIC AUDIO TO LITTER THE EARTH WITH
Look for a 3 song CD sampler to begin circulating in the States and the UK sometime in spring 2002, with hi-fi demo versions of 2 brand new songs (recorded with Brian McTernan) and a remix of "Brain Candle" from the "Jupiter" LP. This same CD sampler will also be released in Japan with 2 additional tracks: "Lift-Off" and "Lost In The Air". In the meantime, we're still tossing around the idea of releasing an EP of at least 5 or 6 brand new songs on Hydra Head sometime before the summer.
