KID KILOWATT VINYL IS HERE!
You can purchase copies of the Kid Kilowatt "Guitar Method" album from our merchandise table during the rest of our run on the From Autumn To Ashes U.S. tour. We have limited copies to sell, as Second Nature was kind enough to give us a small quantity before the official release date (which is sometime in October). The CD is still NOT available - and really, we have no clue when it will be. But please don't go bugging the Hydra Head folks about it, since they have enough things to worry about. Instead, buy the LP for now and rip it onto a CD-R for you and your buddies. Or whatever it is that you do.
INSPIRE VIDEO UPDATE
We've seen and approved the final edit for the "Inspire" video. We think it looks keen, fantastic, and all that fine stuff... plus, we have some guest appearances from a couple of the guys in The Damn Personals and from our pal Jay in the video, as well. To get a better idea of what the concept of the video is all about, refer to one of the previously posted NEWS updates from September 19th.
AND NOW WE SAY THANKS...
...to our fans who joined us in our recent in-store appearances - one in Cleveland, OH and another in St. Louis, MO. You know, maybe it's the lack of sheer deafening volume that we usually enjoy playing at, but we always feel a bit awkward doing those kinds of things. Don't get us wrong - we enjoy a change of atmosphere every now and then (and of course, the record shop discounts are often irresistable). But if we seem a bit out of our element... well, it's because we are! But again, thanks for joining us during these quieter moments.
"INSPIRE" MUSIC VIDEO SHOOT
During one of our sacred days off from touring, we broke into a tiny Boston music store called Mr. Music in the wee hours of the morning to create a video for the song "Inspire". The entire thing was documented with some well-placed surveilance cameras and also with a hand-held camera. It was easily a clean getaway for us, as you'll soon see. Our behind-the-scenes men are splicing up the tapes as quickly as you are probably reading this, and the event will soon be aired on television stations worldwide before you're even prepared for it.
Yes, we are still giving away those freebie CD's that we talked at great lengths about over the summer. The catch is this: you buy an 'Antenna' design T-shirt, and you then receive one of these freebie CD's - while supplies last, of course. And we also have a very limited supply of 'Antenna' vinyl, double LP, the real deal. One of these are being given away for free with every purchase of the 'Antenna' CD. And we've got some fancy new lighters and also a bunch of long-overdue earplugs, so that everyone can finally stop complaining about the volume we enjoy playing at.
IN-STORE APPEARANCE IN ST. LOUIS
One half of Cave In will be putting on a performance at Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis during the earlier hours in the day of the St. Louis show. Expect an acoustic guitar, some spaced-out stereo electric guitar tones, alternate versions of older and newer songs, and maybe a GN'R cover tune. Maybe.
